Why climb in Ladakh ?

  • Uncrowded peaks compared to Nepal or Himachal

  • Unique cultural landscape with Buddhist monasteries and high-altitude lakes

  • Opportunities to combine treks with expeditions

  • Stunning summit views of Karakoram, Zanskar, and Tibetan Plateau

A Climber's Paradise

Ladakh is not just a high-altitude desert of stark beauty, but also a playground for mountaineers and trekkers alike. From relatively accessible trekking peaks to remote technical summits, Ladakh offers something for every level of adventurer.

Permit & Preperation:

Climbing above 6,000 m requires special permits from the Indian Mountaineering Foundation or Ladakh Tourism Department.

  • Acclimatization is crucial. Most expeditions build in 2–3 days before summit attempt.

  • Guided expeditions are highly recommended due to remoteness, altitude, and technical challenges.
